Far from Invisible
Revisado: 03-14-21
The best book I have read in 2021! There’s love and romance, life and death, dark and light, fiction and truth, sorrow and joy, and so much creativity. You won’t stop thinking about Addie!

Historia
When five New Yorkers receive an anonymous, mysterious invitation to the Fifth Avenue Story Society, they suspect they’re victims of a practical joke. No one knows who sent the invitations or why. No one has heard of the literary society. And no one is prepared to reveal their deepest secrets to a roomful of strangers. Yet curiosity and loneliness bring them back week after week to the old library. And it’s there they discover the stories of their hearts, and the kind of friendship and love that heals their souls.

Friendship at its Core
Revisado: 04-11-20
The best book I have listened to in a really long time! I love the way the story ties together the lives of 5 very different people who find common ground at the society. Each character is given a detailed plot line, but the book follows the story of two of the characters a bit more deeply. I love the way they all had a say, and the story was told from many different perspectives. I would LOVE a follow up to this!

And yet, sometimes it feels like she’s invisible. All of that changes when a book of fairy tales arrives on her doorstep. Inside, Martha finds a dedication written by her best friend—her grandmother Zelda—who died under mysterious circumstances years ago. Sweet and Kind, Bookish Book
Revisado: 04-11-20
This is one of the sweetest and kindest bookish books I have read recently. The characters have so much heart and are so well developed, you can't help but love (and hate) them! A perfect read for any library, bookstore, magic, and happy ending lover.

Historia
Can you fall in love like they do in the movies? It's Evie Summers' job to find out. Because if she can't convince her film agency's biggest client, Ezra Chester, to write the romantic-comedy screenplay he owes producers, her career will be over. The catch? He thinks rom-coms are unrealistic - and he'll only put pen to paper if Evie shows him that it's possible to meet a man in real life the way it happens on the big screen. Cynical Evie might not believe in happily ever after, but she'll do what it takes to save the job that's been her lifeline.
