Historia
Adrana and Fura Ness have finally been reunited, but both have changed beyond recognition. Once desperate for adventure, now, Adrana is haunted by her enslavement on the feared pirate Bosa Sennen's ship. And rumors of Bosa Sennen's hidden cache of treasure have ensnared her sister, Fura, into single-minded obsession. Neither is safe; because the galaxy wants Bosa Sennen dead, and they don't care if she's already been killed. They'll happily take whoever is flying her ship.

Another Amazing Book by Reynolds
Revisado: 12-31-24
I really enjoyed this story. Creative, tense, good character development, and surprising plot twists. I've never read a Reynold's book I didn't thoroughly like.

Historia
Spearpoint, the last human city, is an atmosphere-piercing spire of vast size. Clinging to its skin are the zones, a series of semi-autonomous city-states, each of which enjoys a different---and rigidly enforced---level of technology. Following an infiltration mission that went tragically wrong, Quillon has been living incognito, working as a pathologist in the district morgue.

Brilliant!
Revisado: 04-05-24
Reynold's writings just keep getting better and better. Eversion was so creative, mysterious, and suspenseful. Now with Machine Vendetta, Reynolds has written one of the best in the Revelation Space universe. Had just the right amount of tension, character development, action, tie-in's to prior novels, etc... I think Reynolds is by far one of the best sci fi authors, and John Lee's narration was fantastic as always.

Much Better than Blue Remembered Earth
Revisado: 12-06-23
I've listened to almost all of Reynold's works, and Blue Remembered Earth was one of my least favorite. Just didn't have the mystery, subtle suspense, complex character development, and awe-inspiring world building that marks his other stories. On The Steele Breeze, though, felt more like classic Reynolds. The story really captivated me from beginning to end. The narrator did a great job as well.

Very Well Written and Narrated
Revisado: 03-04-22
I really enjoyed it. An immersive world, deep character development, suspense, cool tech... It had all the elements for an amazing sci fi story. I really liked Pushing Ice, House of Suns, Permafrost, and Revelation Space, and Chasm City was equally as good. I'm excited to continue the series. As usual, John Lee did an great job as well.

Another Excellent Book by Reynolds
Revisado: 12-14-21
I've listened to House of Suns, Chasing Ice, and Permafrost and loved them all. Each was engrossing in its own unique way. Reynolds has a gift of building suspense in subtle ways. Revelation Space is different than the others I just mentioned, but that's why I liked it so much. It's not just the same plot or same characters set in a different universe. It really is a very unique book with some fascinating and complex story arcs. Some have complained about John Lee's performance. They didn't like his characters' voicing or that he didn't pause enough between scenes. Neither of those bothered me. I had no trouble distinguishing characters, and recognizing scene shifts wasn't difficult. I highly recommend this book.
