Was drawn into the characters. Aligned with protagonist position easily, however, for a lengthy period I was disenchanted.

Deep and delicate. Revisiting a time long ago that shaped our world today created out of violence, desecration and murder leaving the survivors and their strangeness but powerful stories. Truly a work of living art.

Intelligence wrapped in enigma read profoundly
Revisado: 06-10-22
Started slowly picked up speed and drama with every page. Storyline hidden until revealed near the end. Pulls the reader into Vanessa's heart and mind. Invoking a strong love affair towards her despite the bodies her knives leave in their wake. The narrator is largely part of the authentic tone the story takes on. The authors skill becomes even more vivid.

Riveting! Creative! Suspenseful!
Revisado: 05-05-22
From the first word to the last I was completely entranced. The story seems to unfold naturally. Characters become personable as if they exist in the real world. It is hard to not fall in love with Elisabeth and Mikkel.
