Terrible book. MC is whiney and makes stupid choices over and over and everything is overly dramatic to the point of being unbearable.

Not great but not terrible

Story is decent but has a few issues. The MC is very whiney about certain things and the random singing is just bad. There is almost no action at all which doesn't feel right for this kind of book. The book is a bit dull because the MC has everything handed to her, I don't mind an overpowered MC (which she definitely is) at all but having every single person of importance fawn over her and give her whatever she wants is ridiculous and kills the story.

Ignore reviews complaining about MC being gay or bi, the only mention of anything like that is the MC resisting it when it's caused by a male characters skills/abilities/stats (mental resistance). If you like litRPG you will like this book.

Worth a credit

Would enjoy more books in this series. I was hesitant to pick it up based on the summary because it sounded slightly bland/generic but it was actually pretty good. I grabbed this book based completely on the good reviews so I thought I'd leave some info for others looking at this book.
Some things that may help people decide:
LitRPG Yes but limited, no stat point allocation, but does have basic damage breakdowns and choosing skills/abilities, no building or crafting so far
Magic Yes, plenty
Tech Yes but so far has been blended into the magic
Violence Yes, tons
18+ Lots of adult themes but no excessively graphic scenes

Not a great book but also not a bad book, if you have something better to listen to skip this for now but if you're low on options this is an ok choice.

This was just a good book, your average litrpg novel for most of the book but the surprise at the end made it a great book and if done well enough this series could be one of the top litrpg series.

Refreshing

I listen to a lot of litrpg and most of it has a serious tone, this book is much lighter and has great humor, I am extremely happy with this purchase and can't wait for more on this series.
