Wonderful book, the litrpg part a bit misleading

The only part of this that is "litrpg" is the spell book and how it tracks the MC's progression and that it only minutely tangential to what litrpg is. Other than that this is a wonderful book more along the lines of an epic fantasy.

great story, narrator needs practice.

I am enjoying the story, however the performance is lacking. Pacing of conversations seem off and while there is different voices there needs to be more emotion. half the time everything seems to semi monotone. While this works for the stat blocks, it doesn't for the interaction and combat. There basically no life to the performance.

new translator didn't do due diligence

new translator should have listened to the first two books so the would not be differences. but unfortunately there is. but then again editors should have caught those issues before release.

only had one issue... the amount of potions needed to fight past the first opening blows. other than that, the world tree is one of the more unique gamelit/litrpg books I have listened to. Unique in a good way.
