Classic book, terrible narrator.

I read this book years ago and thought it would be fun to listen to it. This book is a classic, in my opinion. As we know, when listening to audiobooks, the narration is everything. A great narrator - which this book deserves - brings a story to life and does not sound like they are reading off a page. This narrator has a pleasant tone of voice, but never stops sounding like she’s reading. This might not bother some folks, but it drove me crazy. I actually had to return the book, which I rarely ever do. I definitely suggest listening to the preview clip on this one to see if you are OK with this delivery style. I was not.

I just LOVED this!!!

I could go on about this series for hours, but I will spare you. Because of my work I have to spend a lot of time in the non-fiction world. My morning and evening commute, however, are MY time! I like to listen to fantasy and things that are purely for pleasure while I’m driving. Between Gigi Pandian’s excellent stories and Julia Motyka’s masterful narrations, I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Truth be told, Dorian is my ‘man crush.’ Or, ‘gargoyle crush,’ as the case may be.

This book should be mandatory listening for ALL AMERICANS.

Leigh McGowan has nailed it with this writing. When I was in (public!) school we had to take classes in civics and the U.S. Constitution. I am absolutely astounded by how many people don’t even know how our government is supposed to work these days. Americans have become so complacent and lazy - we really shouldn’t be surprised that we’ve been taken over by the Elite 1%. This book is a great way to re-tune your American fighting spirit - the thing we have always been known for throughout the world - not the spineless simps we’ve become. READ or LISTEN TO THIS BOOK!!!

CRIVENS!!! It can’t be finished!!!

One of the greater follies of my life has been my tendency to only consume non-fiction literature. I have rarely allowed myself to just read for pure enjoyment. As a result, I have arrived very late to the work of Terry Pratchett. It is my opinion that J.R.R. Tolkien would have incredibly proud of you, Sir. It is my hope that you are sitting together somewhere as I write this comparing notes about writing inventive, witty fantasy. It is my observation that you both had masterful abilities to fill the most unlikely beings with potent archetypical powers. You know a book or series was very well done when you finish it and wish that there was ‘just one more book!’ I’m sorry I missed you, Mr. Pratchett, but I will do my best to catch up. “Wailly! Wailly! Wailly!’ Rest in peace.

As someone who saw the value of Kaspa quite a while back, I am very glad that Mr. Crowningshield wrote this book. It is very informative and will be a great guide for someone coming into the space. If you want to learn about Kaspa and its use case, this book is highly recommended.

Some interesting stuff here, but...

It is difficult with a book like this that tries to address so many different issues. I realize it would be almost impossible to keep up with everything that has come to light in recent years, but I was very surprised at the author's lack of current information about UFOs and aliens. This book was written AFTER the government admitted that Roswell really happened, for instance, but there they are, denying it. I don't know whether the writers are lazy or if they are part of the dis/misinformation. I got the feeling that they gave some large doses of Truth, ie, 'our government really did THESE bad things,' so they would be more believable to the reader/listener when they presented incorrect information about UFOs. Personally, I think a reader's time is better spent looking at all of the documents that have been declassified in the past few years. Again, there is some good info here, but a lot is not current. I could only speculate with regard to how purposeful this is or is not meant to be, but something felt very disingenuous to me. I say this as someone who had my own UFO sighting back in the late 80s. They can tell the average person who has never seen anything that 'it is all a hoax,' but they cannot tell a firsthand observer this. I am a skeptic to a large extent; the vast majority of photos, etc., are hoaxes. However, there are many, many people who have had real firsthand experiences, including military, law enforcement, and other very credible people.(I'd love to see an interview between the authors and someone like Linda Moulton Howe, for instance. She'd 'school ya.' lol) I do conclude that while certain topics like the experiments in Tuskeegee were very interesting, the chapters about UFOs and aliens here smack of unTruth. Sorry, guys.
