Historia
Most people only know one London; but what if there were several? Kell is one of the last Travelers - magicians with a rare ability to travel between parallel Londons. Historia
When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder - much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing - not even a smear of blood - to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?

for the pleasure of no one
Revisado: 06-24-23
I've never wanted a refund on a book until now.
I hate this whole thing, it's just a desolating circle jerk of misery, I don't think there's anyone that can enjoy this book, only like it in retrospective. You can't convince me otherwise.

Historia
A savage murder, committed the same day Martin Luther King Jr. gave his "I Have a Dream" speech. A young black man is falsely accused. In the style of Truman Capote's In Cold Blood, Erik German's Kindle Single Dead Girls picks up where the reporters left off - just in time for the 50th anniversary of a crime that captivated the nation. On August, 28, 1963, two young white women were found slain and mutilated in their apartment on New York's Upper East Side.

racist
Revisado: 01-20-22
unnecessary racism throughout the whole book, not worth it at all, the murder is gruesome but you don't even get to crack it, just racism.

beautiful and inspiring

truly an army of women took him down, and he deserves every year on his sentence. I loved hearing about the victims themselves, and getting to know their stories.

a must read for everyone
Revisado: 10-07-21
Chanel Miller stole my heart and made me feel her experience as much as I could, as I have the privilege to have never been through what she went through. I have, however, been through rough times, am going through tough times, and this book makes the darkness of the mind understandable, disentangled. Chanel Miller has a beautiful voice, as a writer and a narrator.
As an aspiring author I just home that one day I can make someone feel 1% of the emotions that I experienced as I heard this book. I really hope Chanel goes on to write some more, whatever it is I'll be in line to read it.
