Spectacular Richards Srikes Again

My only criticism was the narrator’s emotional reading of the character in places it didn’t seem appropriate. But overall it was believable and fun. The story seemed like Clive Cussler and Arthur C. Clarke got together with all the crafty Cussler twists in a Clarke-like Foundations setting. The end of story future projections made me think of Childhood’s End. I especially liked the ‘what if the Roman Empire never fell’ (akin to The Enigma Cube’s supposition of Hitler being assassinated). Most interesting was the analysis of addictions in our society and its comparisons under a totalitarian rule. Well done! I’m ready for the next book.

His best yet!

I thought he had outstanding books before this but once again this book tops the rest. Plenty of turns and twists to keep you guessing. I loved the performance too, very talented narration.
