When bipolar disorder afflicts the person you love, you suffer too. How have other couples learned to manage the relationship strains caused by this illness? No one cares more deeply about these questions than Dr. Cynthia Last, a highly regarded therapist/researcher who also has bipolar disorder.

Awakening, informative
Revisado: 08-13-23
This was a profound read for me as I have lived and loved someone with this disorder. I learned so much from this book that I started listening to it all over again after I finished it the first time, possibly because i finally didn’t feel alone.

Historia
In 1968, a small, dilapidated American spy ship set out on a dangerous mission to pinpoint military radar stations along the coast of North Korea. Packed with advanced surveillance equipment and classified intelligence documents, the USS Pueblo was poorly armed and lacked backup by air or sea. Its crew, led by a charismatic, hard-drinking, ex-submarine officer named Pete Bucher, was made up mostly of untested sailors in their teens and twenties.

Good

Some of the details get boring but overall good listen for historical buffs. It could have been shorter.

Historia
Building on the principles found in his father’s best-selling book The Four Agreements, don Miguel Ruiz, Jr., invites us to gauge how attached we are to our own point of view. In The Five Levels of Attachment, he will help you gain awareness of the agreements you have been implicitly making all these years that shape your reality and affect your future and show you how to release the attachments which no longer reflect who you really are.

Powerful Message In A World Driven By Attachment
Revisado: 01-16-22
An important and powerful lesson about attachment and personal freedom to simply Be; to Be Love, to Be Joy, to Be in the moment, and Be so much more to the people that come in and out of our lives, the jobs we hold, the experiences we have. This author knows how to tell a story, disseminate the thought provocative information, precisely and efficiently, in 3 short hours. I will listen to this over and over throughout my life.
