Great addition to the series!

A great addition to an excellent series - this entry is a bit more detective story than the previous ones but that helps keeps the reader engaged and the story fresh.

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Fantastic
Revisado: 05-16-23
Really enjoyed this autobiographical piece of Noah’s childhood in South Africa. It is a personal look into the effects of apartheid, poverty, racism, multiculturalism, and religion on the upbringing of one little boy trying to make sense of it all. A genuinely funny, and sometimes heartbreaking story, this one is not one you’ll want to miss.
