The last time we saw our intrepid hero, Jake had barely managed to escape being trapped on a dead version of his own world. Using a combination of his new powers, he threw himself backward through time, back to when the god that trapped him first rose to power.

very heartfelt 2nd book

changing narrators is never easy. some companies and authors and narrators don't even really care either and it's just a paycheck to them. Alot of care was put into the new narrator to get it right and they more or less nailed the landing. I won't say much about the story other than to say it continues an amazing story from the 1st book and I can't wait to dive into the 3rd boom here soon.

good book good stories but dont expect much in terms of story progression this volume. Voice Actors do a pretty good job overall.
