Historia
The story of philosophy is an epic tale, spanning civilizations and continents. It explores some of the most creative minds in history. But not since the long-popular classic by Bertrand Russell, A History of Western Philosophy, published in 1945, has there been a comprehensive and entertaining single-volume history of this great, intellectual, world-shaping journey.

This is by far the best whodunit I have ever read. The turns and twists and surprise ending on top of a surprise ending was a ver clever plot that I have read nothing like before.
Loved it!!!

Historia
It is a simple question that is as profound as any we can ask: “Who am I?” Dr. Vikram Anthony is that rare person who believes the answer is relatively simple. I am my work; I am my skill; I am my mind. It is only when the noted surgeon faces his own mortality that the answer gets more complex. And the opportunity for a new life–a decidedly different life–opens a world of possibilities he’d never imagined.

Biased false propaganda
Revisado: 04-19-23
The agenda of the running scheme of this whole lecture series is so disappointingly and risibly obvious.
Which is a pity... if it were not for the false racist propaganda, it would have been entertaining.
Mr. Rufus... I suggest you revise the "unique" claptrap you blather about.
Also... "kernel of truth"... hahaha... Spiderman has a "kernel of truth" according to your fallacious equivocation of truth.

Language defines us as a species, placing humans head and shoulders above even the most proficient animal communicators. But it also beguiles us with its endless mysteries, allowing us to ponder why different languages emerged, why there isn't simply a single language, how languages change over time and whether that's good or bad, and how languages die out and become extinct.

Historia
Throughout the Roman Empire cities held public speeches and lectures, had libraries, and teachers and professors in the sciences and the humanities, some subsidized by the state. There even existed something equivalent to universities, and medical and engineering schools. What were they like? What did they teach? Who got to attend them? In the first treatment of this subject ever published, Dr. Richard Carrier answers all these questions and more.

Atrocious Narration and Pathetic Production
Revisado: 07-13-19
The narrator sounds like he is drunk and that is on top of his inability to pronounce words correctly on numerous occasions... and the very distracting background music that is at times even louder that the narrator is an utter INSANITY … why on earth would there be a background music for reading a book... the music distracted me so much that I could not concentrate on the story and accompanied with the atrocious way the narrator was reading as if while inebriated I just could not at all tolerate the bloody farce of this production... and I cannot find a way to return it which adds an insult to the injury of having paid for this pathetic claptrap.
