Having trauma from her exes and dad, Molly continuously depreciated herself throughout. It’s one thing to know it occasionally when reading, but it was almost every page. It was not a good fake relationship, bff brother extreme billionaire story. Not credit worthy.

Rom-com or Suspense but not both!

I love the friends to lovers trope especially since both are musicians. The narrators were fantastic! However my head did a 360 at chapter 4 when a “danger” element was added. This made no sense! The story was moving along smoothly until that addition. How am I supposed to read a light, small town romcom when it turns to serious suspense book alternating from light to suspense? It sadly became a DNF and not credit worthy.

Cliffhanger with a minimum of 2 more

This series of same person does not end! This light romance should not take a minimum of 3 books to conclude. Also only steam is one night stand at beginning of book other than that, nothing else. Shame on author for extending this. I received book 1 as part of membership but requires payment or credit to see how it ends. No thanks!

I purchased with a credit for ZW. He is always worth it but female narrator was not. I love “firsts” but this one was childish and boring. I could not continue. It was a DNF.

Disappointed because I had high hopes.

The first half was good. The second half involved way too many characters. I actually did not care how it finished because it bored me. The character development between Dante and Rose was established before page 1. I never got to experience them fall in love. I never felt the connection other than Dante constantly repeating “You’re mine” to convince the listener. Also, the ages of the O’Malleys were wrong with Rose’s age of 27 and still there were 3 younger siblings. The math did not add up. The narrator gave mom, Kiera a strong Russian accent rather than her original Irish one. I was expecting more spice like the O’Malley series. It was not worthy of my credit.

Had high hopes for this retelling

The only retelling are the character names Hades & Persephone, nothing else. I purchased this for erotica. It wasn’t. This was boring and I felt no character connection. I was not a fan of the narrators. Not credit worthy if you are expecting steamy erotica.

Stop with the rave reviews!!!

It started out good until it became a waste of my time. Billie went from being strong tattoo shop owner / artist to an uptight good girl. She made it clear she did not want to date or get involved with Colby but contradicts herself when she’s jealous and starts asking Colby’s friend for detailed information. It takes way too long to get their relationship started. Then they had to throw the whole immigration / suicide drama during the last half. Really? The book was over ten hours and unnecessarily drawn out. Three year old Saylor is the only reason I continued listening. She was so cute. Both Zachary Webber and Maxine Mitchell did a fantastic job narrating. I loved Hate Notes, Stuck-Up Suit and Happily Letter After, but this was a resounding “No”. Save your credit. This was not credit worthy.
