Necessary Re-Listen/Even Better 2nd Time!

This series is becoming so drawn-out. It reminds me of GOT in that the plot lines are so numerous that I worry some will be lost and the series will never conclude. GRRM has created fear among many fans in this regard- more like GRRR…!
This book explains so many things that happen later in the books, that I at least know there’s a plan.
Having fell in love with these characters, this re-listen is better than hearing it the first time!

Hosts Should Remove 1st Episode

I can’t get past the first episode. One host is placating the other’s emotional problems. They don’t know their material. I mean, they’re like, “Ryoka…um,” as I want to shout “GRIFFIN!” They mention the weather being controlled by magic as a throw-away, like they never heard of the Frost Faeries. One host boasts of their vast literary collection which ends at Wandering Inn and no other story can ever entertain them again. But then they can’t seem to follow or understand the story. It’s just depressing. I really hoped for a fun show in the spirit of the books. Just avoid that first episode is my advice. I hope it gets better.

A fantastical story with well developed characters. Andrea Parsneau gives voice to young women, insects, a king, and a Minotaur by embodying those characters fully. Theses are beloved characters and this book is now my favorite, destined to be a classic. It stands alone. It is more than LitRPG. Spend that credit and enjoy the ride!

For many, this book will be eye-opening. Nyle presents his point of view well, as he has taken the time and mental energy to work at his understanding of another culture: the hearing world- in his dauntless effort achieve his dreams. Mainstream media has never before introduced Americans to the fact that deaf culture has a richness and complexity of its own that the hearing world little knowledge of. I am thankful to Nyle for his hard work, so I can learn from him what he and 320,000,000 others worldwide face when dealing with the hearing majority, and helping us to know how we can learn from each other we open up.
