Summary:
This is an incredible edition to the series. Henry is facing death from unrequited love in the same fate that took his mother from hanahaki disease. Hanahaki is called the flower disease that if it continues will turn him into a tree. Gama is determined to save Henry while being blind the knowledge that he is the only one who can save Henry. The crew continue on their journey where they face unknown dangers leaving only each other to rely upon.
Add to this the audible version that brings the story alive as only audiobooks can.

Summary:
Everyone makes mistakes even Semels!
This story began a few years in the future with a shifter who lost his memory. Anyone familiar with the series knew quickly that it was Jin, but why he was alone and what happened was difficult for me to read. Things are not always clear and sometimes people, even semels, can make rash decisions that could effect those they love. Jin and Logan's bond was reaffirmed when they saw each other, but without Jin's memories something was lost. You would think that bring Jin back to his family and son would end the story, but distrust and hatred form Peter, Logan's father, threatened the home they had built together. It was difficult to put into words how much I loved this book .While many series get weaker as they continue, Change of Heart kept adapting and adding different nuances that held the reader spellbound. It was wonderful experiencing the ongoing loves of many of the characters as they grew to be the individuals they were at the end of this book. Meeting many of their children as they appeared to take different roles in their group made me wonder how their future would end up. I loved how this ended, but hope that this isn't the end of their story!

Summary:
This is a fascinating story that incorporates magic of shifters and witches into an intricate and riveting conclusion to the Academy of Shifters series. I enjoyed how Ms. Claire created a crossover to her Broken Wand series. The growth and changes seen in Remi and her friends added depth to the plot line.
As the story unfolded, the characters and readers began to understand the depth of the lies and manipulation those in charge used to get what they wanted. The growing relationships and friendships were wonderful to behold. This is one series that shouldn’t be missed.

Summary:
Tenly finally took a stand freeing her boyfriend Kalib, but staying behind to protect others. You see Tenly’s society is divided into to groups, the Scarlets who rule and the Cobalts who are forced to live in Tenements barely surviving. A select few Cobalts are allowed to live with the Scarlets are servants forced to stay in their place. The freedom fighters, the Alliance, is made up of both Cobalts and Scarlets who are determined to rectify this situation. They are fighting against a political machine that will do anything to maintain the status quo.
But now there is a new crisis. An illness that seems to have started from dead birds is infecting an increasing number of Scarlets causing death while for some unknown reason not taking the same toll to Cobalts. Dr. Pierce and Tenly make it their goal to find a cure, even if it takes them to places that the Scarlet government isn’t happy about.
The struggle to find a cure takes an unexpected twist send the characters into life changing danger. This was an incredible ride and it isn’t over yet.
The division in Tenly’s society may be the very thing that causes it’s downfall. It was terrible how most of the Scarltes treated the Cobalts. It makes the individuals who saw past all the governments lies all that more impressive. It was wonderful how Dr. Pierce always treated Tenly more as a colleague than someone to look down upon. By holding back one whole segment of the culture from their potential it could be what could doom them all.

This was a fascinating crossover between the Witch and shifter series.
The distrust between the witches and shifters was obvious during the first meting between Remi and Minna even with Remi’s brother Rham inter-seeding for them to trust each other. The slow building of trust was fostered by their common enemy Daniel.
Will they survive? Can they truly trust each other? Will they find a way to help Rham become the man he was born to be? Will the escape Daniel’s evil plans?
Another incredible edition to the series.

Summary:
Menna entered the magical world of the Broken Wand Academy with no prior knowledge or understanding of the dangers she could encounter. This book started off with a bang leaving Meena and Braden with their lives in danger. Between a witch cult and werewolves danger lurks around every corner. Meena has to try and fit into a world she has little understanding of while keeping those around her alive and safe.
The audiobook brings each character alive in unique ways. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Things at Gladwell Academy are never simple or clear. Their enemies are determined to get what they want and that is Remi. Life as a wolf is easier for Remi, but the human shifter world needs her in ways she may not totally understand yet. Secrets abound making it difficult to recognize who is a friend and who isn’t. All Remi wants is to be with her adoptive mother, but looks can be deceiving.
This is a fast paced and very intricate story. The audio-book bring the characters alive in the way that isn’t available through print. I for one can’t wait for the next book in the Academy for Shifters series!
