Historia
When twin sisters Rose and Bel Enright enroll in The Odell School, a prestigious New Hampshire boarding school, it seems like the opportunity of a lifetime. But the sisters could not be more different. The school brings out a rivalry between them that few ever knew existed. And the school itself has a dark underbelly: of privileged kids running unchecked and uninhibited; of rituals and traditions that are more sinister than they seem; of wealth and entitlement that can lead only to disaster.

Secrets, Murder and betrayal
Revisado: 06-29-20
She was the quiet one ⭐️
Bell and Rose are new the Odell Academy and Bell instantly starts casuing trouble.
Bell Falls in love with a teacher and he’s married in the head of their house and he starts having sex with her and Rose doesn’t like that. Because one gross. Two. he’s a teacher. three he’s married.
Anyways Rose is the good girl and doesn’t know what to do when her sister starts getting in with the wrong crowd and causing trouble. But Bell really doesn’t seem to care about what she’s doing or who she’s doing it with because she thinks that she’s right that she’s in control that she can get away with murder.
The slipper incident. Although horrible what those children did, every time it was referenced i couldnt help bt laugh. The slipper incident the slipper incident!
So in the beginning we are teased with a death between one of the sisters but as we jump back-and-forth in time we are mainly following rows in Bell in school and leading up to the incident but then we do jump forward in time a little bit to see the case files and the court dates and things like that which I thought were nice little tidbits of what’s to come. So we are tease that one of the sisters dies and we’re not really sure up until they explain what happens who dies who killed them because it starts to look like a lot of people have motive for murder which I enjoyed not knowing and having that suspense added to it.
It was a good book. And easy book. I listen to it and the narrator was a little bit too much. It was a lot of high school drama which obviously in a YA book you’re going to get a lot of that so right off the bat it wasnt gonna be five stars. But it kept me intrigued and kept me wanting to know more and I like twins in books and murder in books and it was enjoyable.
But the moment we know who the killer is and which twin is killed it was dragged on. There is only so much you can do to keep the suspense once the killer is reveal seonc to killing everyone that knows which she didnt do. But still good.

The Christmas pact ⭐️
Kennedy Riley And Riley Kennedy. They have never met but since their names are so similar people always get their emails mixed up. They usually forward each other‘s emails back-and-forth but our Mr. in the group always likes to reply to her emails and give her his two cents on the matter at hand. Obviously this starts there a little feud but also starts their romance/Frenemyness.

Historia
Jane’s days at a Midwest insurance company are perfectly ordinary. She blends in well, unremarkably pretty in her floral-print dresses and extra efficient at her low-level job. She’s just the kind of woman middle manager Steven Hepsworth likes - meek, insecure, and willing to defer to a man. No one has any idea who Jane really is. Least of all Steven. But plain Jane is hiding something. And Steven’s bringing out the worst in her.

Sophisticated Psychopath.
Revisado: 08-28-19
Jane Doe 🌟
Jane is a Sophisticated psychopath but are most psychopaths sophisticated and smart. Well Jane is sort of a genius she is trying to destroy her dead best friends ex boyfriend because he ruined her and put her over the edge having her commit suicid.
Jane doesn’t have feelings or emotions or at least that’s what she likes to think. She likes her cat and her college boyfriend that comes back into the pciture but she really just needs to focus on this new man. To avenge her friend for all he put her through. Be weak and naive. Give into him make him feel as though he is in charge and the only person she cares about.
I wanted to shoot him. And Jane is wonderful. Even though she is not emotional and doesnt give a damn about anything but herself and her needs you want her to succeed! You want her to ruin him because you as the reader hate him too.
Also Luke, Janes ex boyfriend is wonderful and Jane thinks that if she were a different person she would be happy with him but shes not a different woman and cant love him like he wants even though he does remind her of Meg which makes her feel happier.

Trail of lightening ⭐️
First off the protagonist is very conceded and thinks she is just so amazing and special which made her unlikable.
I liked the gory and violence of it and her journey of killing hese monsters but her as a person I dont like.
She killed a monster moved on to the next killed a monster moved on to the next. I didnt feel like there was a real point of the story just to kill a bigger monster.

Ellie Brown thought she'd finally escaped her stifling hometown of Broadlands, Illinois; med school was supposed to be her ticket out. But when her father has a stroke, she must return home to share his care with her older sister, Amelia, who's busy with her own family. Working as a paramedic, Ellie's days are monotonous, driving an ambulance through streets she'd hoped never to see again.

Overly Descriptive, over kill
Revisado: 10-30-18
Working fire 2.75⭐️
Ameila has been shot she is in critical condition might not survive and it is up to Ellie to save her sister to find out what really happened.
Then we go back in time and see Amelia living life and all the choas that ensued leading up to the gun shots and bleeding out.
So JK Rowling likes to describe every little thing like a movie which is fine but at times it was much. Take that overly descriptive writing and times it by 5. And she is writing about stupid things like yoga pants on thr floor and talks for a year about things so when we finally get back to what the characters were saying we forget what they were actually talking about.
Amelia is also a stay at home mom and acts as though she has so much on her plate when both her children are at school all day anyway. She acts as though she jas no time for anything but she literally does nothing all day.
Ellie, i liked. she was relatable but again she was stupid for the second half of the book and steve and her, their relationship was so stupid. He is a momster and she still believes hes a good person. She was overly descriptive writing made the story less enjoyable and a bit overkill.
The story could have been half as long minus all the useless crap about nothing and it would have probably been a four star but she went on and on. I painted while listening to this and in a sense the nothingness was good because you really dont have to pay any attention until they say something instead of describing everything

Pretty girls dancing ⭐️
She was taken and forced to do as he wanted. Good behavior will be rewarded and bad behavior will be punished.
It was so detailed and intense. I loved it!
It felt so real. Whittney was taken and forced to dance as he wanted, do as he wanted, be just as he wanted. It kept me reading and kept my breath stuck in my throat. The creep made my skin crawl and oh I wanted him dead, thats how i know that this was a great book. It made me feel all the rage and pain that whittney went through.
We also follow an agent assigned to the kidnapping case which was really interesting and intense seeing what they deal with while trying to find the kidnapper and find the child.
Then we follow the sister of one of the girls that was taken. A girl that didnt survive the kidnapping. How she deals with life after that man ruined her sisters life in turn ruining her life.
We also get to follow the parents of the both the kidnappes children.
It was so good and it you want intense psychological thriller this is it.

The memeory agent⭐️
I dont know how to explain this except for that things go wrong in multiple aras and memory, life and death is not what it seems.
Star reasoning
⭐️really liked the writing style. Drew me i to the world.
⭐️the story was unique. The idea of memory and death and life.
⭐️ the intensity grew so easily but then it was just a memory. Memory and what is real and what is false is really confusing but so interesting.
-2 It was complex and Im not entirely sure what the story was about. Since memory is different from real life we never really know whats real. True and false made the story interesting but also frustrating.

The party⭐️
It was supposed to be a simple sweet sixteen party but all the innocence of 15 was gone and these kids became killers ruining all thier lives.
It was realistic (except for losing an eye that was extreme but could happen) and I think younger readers should read this to see what could happen when doing drugs and drinking and being all around stupid. Dont do things that make you uncomfortable to impress your friends and really dont do things you are not comfortable with just for a guy.
Parents and children all interwoven making their lives so much more difficult in so many ways.
It was really good. I liked the writing style it was easy to read and the story flowed and kept me intrigued.
