I think for me, is that it is written by a marine that actually lived through what his story is about! It made the story come alive in my mind.

A bit disappointing

Star force has been one of my favorite listens.
I think I’ve listened to the whole series including the spin-off to Cody Riggs two or three times.
I was really excited to see that a new book was out even after reading that it would have multiple narrators.
I have to say had I not been such a fan of the series i’m Not sure I would have made it very far.
I look forward to any more installments and hope that Mark Boyett continues the narration.

Why would you ruin a great book

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
It looks like I'm not alone. Changing the narrator is that same as changing all of the actors in a movie. They may have the same name but they are not the characters that you have grown to know.
It just made me sad that one of my favorite stories that I looked so forward to hearing was so hard to listen to.
