Laurell K. Hamilton has come up with YET ANOTHER new series that has the potential to take her fans deep into another UNIQUE world. However, this world is one a little closer to home for the vast majority of us here on planet Earth....Angela & Demons and all kinds of beings and possibilities in between. I won't spoil any story details, but suffice it to say that LKH has done it again...created a story that connects with not only the readers' minds and hearts, but their souls as well!! Thank you, Laurell, and we all look forward to the next installment from this new venture! However, I hope this doesn't mean your muses have stopped yelling, talking, or even whispering to you about Anita and her clan, or even Merideth!! Please, as long as your muses are willing to inspire you, we will continue to be inspired by the resulting yarns spun from their inspirations!!! Again, from the bottom of the heart of a sincere and devotesld, but not psychopathic or stalker-like, fan......THANK YOU!!

I can't begin to say how great this latest installment is!! A MUST READ FOR ALL!!! IF you haven't read even a single Sherrilyn Kenyon (McQueen) title yet, you do NOT know what* you are missing, but should learn QUICKLY!! For anyone that is a fan of Sci-Fi Fantasy worlds with romance, danger, intrigue, betrayal, and MUCH, MUCH MORE, START with her 1#t book in her Dark-Hunter® Series, entitled "Julian of Macedon"!! It is QUITE the interesting way to kick off a LONG STANDING, AND STILL RUNNING, series about a race of immortal being created by the Goddess Artemis to allegedly protect the human race from ANOTHER group of wannabe immortals that PREY on human souls to survive!!
Sherrilyn now ties for being my favorite author with only ONE other author jusrlt as talented. Out of respect for my review being about Ms. McQueen's book, I will only name the other author. another lady writer, by her initials of LKH. YOU BOTH hold a strong and adoring place in my literary heart & soul!! PLEASE, NEVER let anyone keep you from doing what you love and do so well!! Your Paladins are here for you, to support, uplift, and to just be here in any, and I mean ANY, way we can be!! Long live Sherrilyn Kenyon and the marvelous beings & worlds that are her creations!!!

I am very impressed with BOTH the story AND the narrator's performance!! The story matches 2 beings who are equally matched, in so many ways, yet she created just enough differences between them that they balance each other out. I am VERY INTRIGUED with where she will lead the plot next, with the way the story ended, and it will be a bloody battle for all when things gets started in the next installment in the Dark Hunters Series. I have not read the next book, yet, as I type this review, so don't spoil it for me and the other like me!!
As for the narrator, BRAVO!! Holter Graham has done his best performance, yet, in reading Dragonsworn to us!! He has the best information in his tone, at the proper moment. Holter reads the words at the best pace, and has a very dramatic way, in the best ways, about how he reads specific parts of the book, displaying the proper emotions at the proper time, at the proper volume and with the most appropriate tone possible for that moment!!
Wonderful performance, all around!!!!!

I have been enthralled with Sherrilyn's writing from the very first Dark Hunter novel I read!! I pray that she is able to win her battles against the wicked foe that is her ex-husband and RIGHTFULLY KEEP CONTROL OF HER OWN WORKS!! It was her mind, her time, her creativity that created these worlds and SHE should be able to decide, ULTIMATELY, where, when, how, with or through whom, and/or shat is done with her ENTIRE CREATIVE GENRE THAT ARE THE DARK HUNTER (AND OTHER) REALMS!!! I am definitely on your side Sherrilyn!!

I have %followed the writings of Laurell K. Hamilton for almost 10 years now, and even after reading each book, again & again, the storylines NEVER get old, boring, or in need of ANYTHING more!! I am re-reading the Anita Blake series so I am fresh with where her story SHOULD be when the next novel is released!! Keep up the great work, Laurell!!
