if pages after pages of your writing is inside a character's head....STOP....it is boring. 75 % of this book is someone talking in their head. I finished the book just to see if anything exciting was going to happen. a few pages only. so tired of trying new authors who 1) spend little time with a character talking to themselves and 2) stupid misunderstandings

I liked this book the first time I paid for it. But I bought "again" not knowing since they changed the released date and added words to the title. Half way through the first chapter I realize it is the book I had already purchased. Watch out and look carefully.

I enjoyed the book. There is a bit that is not my favorite but enjoyed everything else, especially the humor and the hero. But this is book three of the series and audible does not note that in their description. At about half way through the book I realized it. I am now going back to start at the beginning. I hate starting a series in the middle.

all in their heads

I have always wanted to say to an author, "if more pages in your book are thoughts inside people's head than outside their head, you don't have a story". By Chapter 6 nearly every page were just the thoughts of the main characters speaking in their heads. I love a good shifter story but there is no story here. Learn to write dialog that tells the story. Keep out of their brains.

Just fun!

I have read many of Ms. Joyce's books and I think I figured out why I enjoy them so much. She builds a world in smaller pieces. We are not hit with all of the "world building" in the first book. When I read this first book, I thought it was a bit simple but wanted to read more. I realized by book three that she was giving us the pieces of this world in smaller bites and I liked it. Each set of stories build to, what is usually, a really fun and exciting ending of that set. Reader is not my favorite but I have gotten used to her. She goes on to the next generations. I have really enjoyed her series. They are just FUN.

Fluffy and enjoyable

Read the whole series and enjoyed it. Not a fan of multiple readers and really missed Ryan West in the second part. But there is just something about the rangers that makes you happy they find love.
