Historia
In the revised edition of his hit book The Sacred Search, author Gary Thomas helps single people of all ages make wise marital choices, in large part by rethinking what basis those choices should be made on. Listeners are encouraged to think beyond finding their “soul mate", an idea that has its roots in the philosophy of Plato, and instead adopt a more biblical search for a “sole mate” - someone who will walk with them on their spiritual journey.

As a single Christian, this has been one of the more helpful books on dating and marriage that I have come across.

Historia
Janner, Tink, and Leeli Igiby, the Lost Jewels of Anniera, are hiding from Gnag the Nameless in the Green Hollows, one of the few places in the land of Aerwiar not overrun by the Fangs of Dang. But there's a big problem. Janner's little brother - heir to the throne of Anniera - has grown a tail. And gray fur. Not to mention two pointed ears and long, dangerous fangs. To the suspicious folk of the Green Hollows, he looks like a monster. But Janner knows better. His brother isn't as scary as he looks. He's perfectly harmless. Isn't he?

Historia
In our world today, there aren't many voices encouraging us to refrain from sexual relations outside of marriage. Even fewer voices are calling us to also refrain from pornography and masturbation. In Called Higher, you will listen to the uncommon testimony of how God gave a regular college student named Doug freedom from both pornography and masturbation. He still has this gift of freedom after nearly 10 years now, all without getting married. Being forever changed by the Lord's mercy, today Doug strives to point men and women everywhere to follow Jesus with everything.

Redefined “sexual purity” for me.
Revisado: 11-04-20
This story has redefined where the lines are for staying within the realm of what is sexually pure in God’s eyes. Never have I felt more sure thatI knew and believed in a clear standard to follow in order to fully live what Christ desires for my life in the realm of sexual conduct. The “core” that Doug gets after in this work is the true core: absolute Lordship of Christ and joyful submission to His desires for us.

Lewis' legendary radio broadcasts during the war years, in which he set out simply to "explain and defend the belief that has been common to nearly all Christians at all times."

This has changed me.
Revisado: 01-22-17
I have claimed to be a Christian my whole life. Until hearing CS Lewis's words, I don't think I realized what I was saying. This book will both totally terrify you, and leave you with a hopefulness that can't be tampered with.
