Historia
The number one New York Times best-selling story about American Olympic triumph in Nazi Germany, the inspiration for the PBS documentary The Boys of '36, broadcast to coincide with the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 80th anniversary of the boys' gold medal race. Out of the depths of the Depression comes an irresistible story about beating the odds and finding hope in the most desperate of times - the improbable, intimate account of how nine working-class boys from the American West showed the world at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin what true grit really meant.

Historia
It begins on the shaded town square in a sleepy Southern town. A spirited seven-year-old has a brisk business at her lemonade stand. But the little girl’s pretty yellow dress can’t quite hide the ugly scar on her chest. Her latest customer, a bearded stranger, drains his cup and heads to his car, his mind on a boat he's restoring at a nearby lake. The stranger understands more about the scar than he wants to admit. And the beat-up bread truck careening around the corner with its radio blaring is about to change the trajectory of both their lives.

Historia
The end of her high-profile broadcasting career came too soon for TV journalist Alison Reynolds - bounced off the air by executives who wanted a "younger face". With a divorce from her cheating husband of 10 years also pending, there is nothing keeping her in L.A. any longer.

Good story, ruined by weird funky music
Revisado: 11-01-21
I liked the book, just can’t understand why they felt the need to put in some weird 70’s style porn music littered throughout the story.
Thank

Wilbur Smith does it again!
Revisado: 04-09-21
Wilbur Smith and Giles Kristian have once again painted a bold and swashbuckling novel, continuing the story of Hal Courtney and his crew. With the return of the Buzzard they have picked up the story where it last left off. The adventures and dangers continue with some new characters they meet along the way, all the while weaving a masterpiece of storytelling that Wilbur Smith fans are accustom to. Brilliant as the sapphire in the pommel of Hal’s Neptune Sword .... Wilbur Smith shines as always!

One cool customer.... just don’t piss him off.
Revisado: 04-10-19
Just listened to “Without Remorse”.... again. ( 5th time). Just as entertaining as the previous times I’ve listened to it. One of my favorite Clancy books. John Kelly aka Mr Clark aka Snake is one cool customer. Great character driven story that introduces us the backstory of
Mr Clark, who appears in Clear and Present Danger and is “Rainbow Six”.
