What did you like best about The Law Is a Lady? What did you like least?

Very predictable and trite. I was very disappointed.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would have not used the whole plot. The "The Law is a Lady" started out okay, but it was downhill from there.

Did Mikael Naramore do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

His reading was okay, but not great.

Do you think The Law Is a Lady needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No.

The characters were very well defined and each one was so very different.

I especially enjoyed Virginia's outlook on life.

The celebration of Virginia's 85th Birthday.

I think the title is very appropriate and I cannot think of a better one.

I didn't read the written version.

Yes, the plot kept me on the edge of my seat. I wanted to know how it would end.

When the jury came in with the verdict.

I was horrified by the continued prejudice in the South.

I was disappointed with the ending. It ended in a compromise that I didn't think was fair.

Grafton wins again.

Yes, it kept me wondering what was going to happen next. Three plots finally came together at the end.

Excellent Beginning to End

What did you love best about The Witness?

I couldn't wait to get to the next chapter. A well written and a very good weaving of the story line from past to present. Characters were well developed.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Brooks was my favorite character because he showed such insight and understanding.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Abigail met Brooks' family.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes it was but it was too long to do that.
