A New Character's Perspective is Born

I liked hearing the story of Lt. Kate Gazzara and how she gets her start. Things are not easy for her in the male-dominated world of law enforcement but she does not lose focus on the case in spite of it all. The narrator does a good job of subtly doing various character voices without trying to take over the story with her vocal performance. That is not always easy to do.

I liked the story and the narrator. The story gets a little beyond plausible with the possibility of mass destruction and Harry Starke assuming a James Bond-like role in stopping it. Still worth reading or listening to any Blair Howard story.
