Fun, Fast Story, really mediocre reader.

I really do wish that the "performance" of this audio book was better. The man who reads it just does not do it justice at all. I almost couldn't listen to it at first but persisted in the hope that I would get used to the strange almost newsreader/announcer style of reading. I also was annoyed with the way he pronounced Las Angeles...( lahs anjeleeez!). Still the story was engrossing and exciting and the characters well written. I wish I had read it on my Kindle instead of listening to it. Oh well. I got through it and did enjoy it as a story.
