Worth a listen

I have mixed feelings on this.
I hate most of the main characters. I think the author is leaving them open for growth but.. I hate the hypocrisy and lack of understanding of the wife. I hate the daughter’s attitude as a teenager. And the husbands being led around by things other than his head. The two younger kids are ok and Dave is almost ok.
The story is generic but the systems are pretty good and the growth and action is fun. The Reader is solid and I enjoyed listening over all. The people become less obnoxious over time but still hit my nerves as of partway through book 3. The couple continues to talk as though they work as a team but that is not at all how it is portrayed. Still all in all fun and something to listen to on a long drive.

I really typically like the author and reader... He always uses detail and I feel like I get the value out of the credit but on this one I felt like the first 10 hrs were to slow. the next 5 we're ok you have my attention and the last 5 we're really good and I cared what was happening. I was so bored for the first part though it took me forever to get finished. If it wasn't 13 books committed I might not have finished. Im glad I did and I look forward to the next but...

One of the best LitRPG Series out

I have read many LitRPG series some books have taken me higher but this series was solid from start to finish. The story is pretty straight forward and so is the progression but the premise is more believable than most for this type and I find I really liked the characters.

I think she may be involved in Spartan competitions.
