I could feel, smell, and touch this story

This novel was so well written that I could feel, smell, and touch everything Delia was writing. In our current busy world, reading this brought me to simpler times while keeping my full attention and my toes pushed into the ground waiting for what was to happen next. While this book was so simple and original, I felt so in touch with Kya and her story. Love, Pain, & Loneliness were all very abundant in this story but I felt so much joy while reading. 10/10 stars.
