It's the beginning

Overall it's a great start to what will be another epic. It's the setup for what's to come. My only real complaint is that everyone in it falls too neutral and flat. I found it hard to connect with anyone of them in any meaningful way. I'm hopeful that the depth of who they are is just beginning to peak out from the curtain. Can't wait for the next one!

It's taken Craig a bit to find his footing as a writer but I feel like the last two books in the series have really shown that he's leveled up. This is the best one by far.

I was just a degree or two away from many of them, heard them told the next day or week after, witnessed many not mentioned here with my own eyes. Took me a minute

This whole series just gets better and better... I mean books in and it's incredible. This one took me a minute. The pacing is a little different. It perhaps hits too close to our current polical "situation" idk. But as it moves on the message becomes clear and it's both beautiful and desperately needed in our current day. Well done.

This book is an absolute blast. It's funny, smart, and has a good dose of late 1900's pop-culture. Also, you're supporting a new author directly. The next book is written and due out 3/17, with the third is over half way complete. So the wait will be short. Share it with your friends if you enjoy it, that's how I found it!
