Lordy, I’m glad that’s over!

I recently listened to several Dean Koontz books and enjoyed them, especially Jane Hawk series. This was so painful. It took forever but I kept trying. It was all over the place and so many weird twists. It was a paranormal listen and I don’t care for that. Narrator was ok.

In all fairness, I’m not sure if it’s a good story. I just cannot listen to Michael Healy any longer. I didn’t get past the first chapter. I got so disinterested that I had to listen to the same thing 3 times to get it. I was listening to these books in order and just saw that the same narrator does the next several books. I won’t be listening. Too bad. I like Peter Diamond. Hope Audible will refund my credit!

Devastating story

Although very sad, this was such an interesting story. I’m glad I heard both sides. Most of the deceased were 30 and over, going to hear a favorite band. After listening, I blame the band manager and band. They should have ALWAYS gotten permission to use pyrotechnics. It was sad for the brothers. They thought they’d bought fire retardant foam to sound proof their club. I still can’t get the thought of how close Gena and Freddy came to getting out. It makes me mad. Just sad all the way around for the injured and deceased.
