I happened upon this podcast by accident. I have loved it ever since. I enjoy the smart story line and the voice actors. My only issue is that there’s not enough and it’s to short. I fear with the show we will have to wait longer for the next story. Which means you have a hit. Now…just give us more. Lol!

Robert Glenister is amazing. Robert Galbraith breadth of writing an engaging storyline is always a thrill. The fact that several misdirections and storylines at one time flow so well. The development of the characters also is amazing. Love Sam Barkley and Pat. Our main characters are growing and have come so far in this series. Definitely can not wait until the next book. Until then will read the books again and watch the series. Great read/listen!!

Eddie S Glaude Jr. Is riveting in this poignant (for lack of a better word) evaluation of past and present. The words that roll off the page belies the authors emotions and what it evokes in the reader. I had to stop and highlight my kindle version and re-listen to chapters. I was brought to tears of rage, helplessness and fear. However, there is hope here. A catharsis that is only the tipping point of what it is to be black in America. From the Ruin to the Witness... I don’t think words can ever truly explain how I feel listening and reading this book. I do know that it is definitely a valuable read for ALL.

Omg!! Just when you needed something good to read in case of a pandemic...BAM! This book is everything. I loved every minute of it. Darynda Jones had me laughing, crying and ready to fight. This book makes me think of the YA book she did a few years ago (which I secretly wish she’d bring back) and some of Charlie’s moxie. It really is not like the Davidson series except great background people and hot as heck guys and great prose! I can’t wait for the next book!! And our new motto in this house is WWLSD!

I swear every time I think Faith Hunter can’t give me something new to love — here she comes with a new story. I absolutely loved everything about this book. I can’t wait to hear more about Shining and JOLENE had me in tears. I’m also loving the MC in this post apocalyptic wold. Tuff and Notch - like seriously who doesn’t love cats.

This is my second Dannika Dark novel and I am late to the party. I have to admit this second novel is a lot better than the first. She definitely takes time to flesh out her secondary characters. At first I was not a fan of Raven's. She seemed to brash and unlikeable, but she grew on me once you knew more of her last. I thought Christian was a jerk, but I am starting to warm up to him just a strike but more. The author does a wonderful job of slowly providing context of where these characters are at present and weaving in a little of their last to explain the choices they make currently. I have to admit I am intrigued by Niko and can't wait to see why he is the way he is now. Great second book and more humor.
