Historia
Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

Wow wow wow!!!
I absolutely LOVED listening to this story!!! when I first heard the voice Female narrator I couldn't pin point where I heard Luci Christians voice befor until I looked her up and realized she voiced so many of my favorite anime characters growing up! it was wonderful hearing her do such a great job for this audible book. I loved the cute, awkward, & quirky chemistry betweek Cal and Vera throughout the story. both voice actors did and amazing job really conveying the characters personalities and I loved the added sound affects they added into this, It was definitely refreshing hearing something so new. Definitely one of my favorite rom-coms I've listened too so far! I've been stuck inside working all week and I'm so glad I decided to take the chance on this book, It's helped the time fly by and I got so into the story I'd lose track of time. definitely worth listening too!

Historia
On Marin’s island, sunrise doesn’t come every 24 hours - it comes every 28 years. Now the Sun is just a sliver of light on the horizon. The weather is turning cold and the shadows are growing long. Because sunset triggers the tide to roll out hundreds of miles, the islanders are frantically preparing to sail south, where they will wait out the long night. Marin and her twin brother, Kana, help their anxious parents ready the house for departure. Locks must be taken off doors. Furniture must be arranged. Tables must be set. The rituals are puzzling - bizarre, even.

I actually waited a long time before reading this book but I'm really glad I got around to reading it. great story and the narrator did a good job. my only complaint would be that I need a book 2 lol, I'd love to see how the story would continue once they reach the island.
