Wonderful story and narration
Revisado: 03-10-23
I had been in a bit of a book slump and took a chance on this book.
This is more of a love story , less of a suspense book.
Beautifully written and eloquently delivered by Clare Corbett.
I urge you to take a chance on this book, there is nothing to critique .

Best book I have listened to all year!
Revisado: 08-11-22
I can't say enough about this book. Its such an amazing unique premise.
The story line is so unique and fascinating , with so many twists and turns.
I have never read a book like it that goes back in timeline just so the main character can look at her life and experiences with a new perspective.
The narrator was amazing. The delivery and urgency she created was incredible.

Beautiful, heartwarming and funny
Revisado: 08-01-22
I don't often write reviews but felt compelled to do so after finishing this book.
I was in a bit of a book slump when I selected this book and this listen definitely got me out of it.
The characters, narration, sentiment and humor was all there.
It was heartwarming, funny and sad but mostly a beautiful listen.
I completely recommend you spend that credit and listen to this !

I loved this book. I first read the Harold Fry book and loved it, I wanted more so got this book. it wasn't so much as a sequel but a different prospective. Yes, the main character Queenie is dying but there is so much life and richness in the story.

Disappointing....dull and boring
Revisado: 10-16-20
It pains me to write a bad review on a Lisa Jewell book as I love this author and have read ALL her books.
I was so exited about this book and even pre orderd it!
Lisa Jewell is usually a master of creating rich and intertwined characters, unfortunately not this time!
This book was all over the place, fragmented, hard to believe and shallow characters with no development throughout the book.
Frankly I was bored and disappointed and know Lisa Jewell can do much better.
