Good story, a bit slow but with a good ending, classic Stephen King type of novel. Eli Wallach's narration is very good too but the underlying music can be really disruptive and overpowers the narration at times.

Very informative and enjoyable, pointing in many directions of film history in way that's really engaging. The one big flaw is that the narrator never moves from the microphone so you get all the sounds of lips smacking, deep gulps and various sounds like that. I know some people find that significantly more off-putting than I did.

Hands down the best narration I've encountered in an audiobook. He really goes for the voices and gives each character their own sound and personality and conveys that manic energy spectacularly when he needs to.
