Historia
It's the first and greatest command - the most important thing. But even if we want to love God that way, most of us don't. Are we doomed? Absolutely not. Drawing from psychology, Shakespeare, loads of Scripture, and her personal experience falling in love at 13 (and staying in love for 26 years), Gerhardt makes a story-rich case for a surefire way to fall in love and stay in love with God. Inspiring, warm, genuine, and practical, Look to Love is both convincing and comforting. This isn’t a book to shame you into reading your Bible. It’s an invitation and a help.

Excellent

This book is for parents at any stage of life and is also helpful with other relationships you have. It is not just for a family dealing with addiction, although it is the main topic. There is alot of parental advice about how to let your children feel their feelings and that we don't have to fix everything for them. It was easy to listen to and kept my attention.

Historia
An 11-year-old boy's violated corpse is found in a town park. Eyewitnesses and fingerprints point unmistakably to one of Flint City's most popular citizens. He is Terry Maitland, Little League coach, English teacher, husband, and father of two girls. Detective Ralph Anderson, whose son Maitland once coached, orders a quick and very public arrest. Maitland has an alibi, but Anderson and the district attorney soon add DNA evidence to go with the fingerprints and witnesses. Their case seems ironclad.

I downloaded this book for my husband and I to listen to while we traveled on vacation. We loved it. The narrator did a wonderful job reading and creating voices for the characters. My favorite was Lovie. We have just become empty nesters and it gave us something to share and to talk about as we tried to figure out the next plot the book would take.
