When a little girl, all alone in the big bad woods, lets it slip that she's on her way to visit her sick gran, I can't help but take advantage. Don't judge me. I'm hungry, and let's be real...what tastes better than a meal that doesn't struggle—much? Little do I know, my bloodthirsty plot is about to be foiled by a set of five werewolves that have decided to eat gran, take her place, and eat the little girl! I wish I had thought of that last bit myself. The worst part is that I have been a lone vampire for years now, so I have no one to watch my back.

I love these werewolves! They're so sweet and ferocious at the same time (but not to their vamp, never to her). Quillon is my favourite. He is just so adorable! Followed by Draco, the dirty charmer and Xander, the book nerd after my own heart. Bran and Dyrk are great too. Even though this is a standalone, I'm holding out hope that they'll pop up in the other books in this series too. LOVE the narrator's voice and accents. So much better than I was imagining as I was reading it myself.

I loved this story! There is excellent world-building and character development as always from an S.J. Sanders book. I loved every one of Lori's mates. I'm so glad this was expanded to include Kehtal and Daskh. The societal structure of the 'aliens' is fascinating and I can't wait to read more about it in the sequel! Love the way the narrator does the Seshanamitesh voices as well. Hashal's voice is so cute!

What a great start to a series! I loved the tension and mystery balanced with the romance and humour. This book is action-packed while also providing lots of quiet emotional moments. There is amazing character building as well. Can't wait to read the subsequent books and learn more about the other guys on the team.

I love audio dramas, and this was an especially great one! The tension and emotion was conveyed so perfectly, allowing us to be immersed in the scenes despite not being able to see them. I really loved the characters both new and old. I cried so bad at that ending.

This was so good! Despite already knowing how it was going to turn out, it was great getting more insight into what exactly happened to the colony and getting to know the characters that we didn't actually see in Aliens. It makes the movie experience so much richer.

This is one of the sweetest, most wholesome books I've ever read! I love that the author wrote it for her younger sister and other young people like her. It's the kind of hopeful sci-fi that would be so encouraging for young teens or tweens interested in science. Eagerly awaiting book 2 which will have more adventures in space!
