Of course I picked this up because of the show! I am so glad that I've been introduced to the series.

It is right up my alley! It's an easy read, but very eventful and exciting. It is not one of those fantasy novels that goes overboard with language and you have to re-read things several times in order to sort through what the author is trying to say.

I think it's clever and witty. I'm so excited to keep going.

Wonderful book

I listened to this book because of David Sedaris promoting it during his tour.

I can see why he did. Not only was it a great story, but three are definite parallels between this book and his life. There were times that I could almost hear Sedaris reading, rather than Tom Hanks - who was fantastic.

I bought the ebook as well because sometimes when I love a book, I'll steal a few minutes here and there throughout the day to read a little further. I couldn't bring myself to do it with this book. Tom Hanks really brought the story alive.

I'm very upset I'm finished with it. I truly enjoyed every moment.

Good stories. The narration sucks. It sounds like a second grader reading out loud to the class. There is no sentence continuity. Sometimes she ends a sentence but then it turns out there is more to it.

I thought this book was really interesting!! It is always different seeing things from the stalker POV. The performance was just creepy enough to sound somewhat sane but convey the insanity. I thought it was well done!

I liked this story. It is a bit over-the-top with the overused storyline of ultra successful guy and gorgeous woman who doesn't know she's gorgeous, but nevertheless the backgrounds of the characters is interesting. I will be listening to the next book to see what happens.

The writing is alright, but I'm so sick of the phrase "long minutes." So weird. Who lets someone stare at them for long minutes mid-conversation without saying anything?

The narration is good. It flows well. It's definitely a good book considering the intentions.

I think these stories were pretty interesting! They were maybe a little cheesy, but in a good way. it was like listening to an old time radio program. I saw one reviewer go on about awkward silences and it almost made me not get it. There weren't any awkward silences that I came across.. There was always something going on. Maybe make sure the volume is up? I'm glad I decide to opt for it anyway!

I listen to these things while commuting and I'm sad it's done.

Absolutely Fantastic!

What an amazing journey! I wasn't sure about choosing this selection but I'm very glad I did. We dabble in growing our own peppers and making sauce.. not for glory but just for fun, and listening to this story added another level to our hobby.

It is an interesting story despite the peppers.

I preordered this book forever ago and started reading the hardcover version, when I realized that I didn't want to wait until I got home from work to continue. I downloaded the audio book and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

We are huge Murr fans in my house but I was a bit apprehensive to order the book. I'm so glad I did. It is my preferred genre. It's so well-written and I didn't find it to be too predictable. I'm upset with some events, but that's a good thing. I listen to a ton of audio books and this is my favorite fiction reading yet. He is fantastic.

I would love to see a movie or series based on this.

I'm guessing that there will be at least a sequel and I can't wait for it. Well done, and thank you for a great read and performance.

It was really interesting to get the back story of the show. It got really weird halfway through when she started skewering the show for not being feminist enough. I think it was the context and maybe the verbiage used - I dunno, but it made me feel uncomfortable like being at someone's house when they start yelling at their partner. It was odd. I did like it overall though.
