Historia
Journalist Susan Casey was in her living room when she first glimpsed this strange place and its resident sharks, their dark fins swirling around a tiny boat in a documentary. These great whites were the alphas among alphas, the narrator said, some of them topping 18 feet in length, and each fall they congregated here off the northern California coast.

Authentic Characters and Story line
Revisado: 06-12-23
Great story by a thoughtful and authentic writer. We are drawn in to ride along on the writers journey to "re-wild" and be awestruck by the wonder, power, and majesty of the natural world. The characters we meet are admirable, and likeable for their commitment and endurance to pay the price to pursue knowledge & understanding of these fascinating creatures of the deep.

Historia
There is a paradox. As children, most of us think we are highly creative; as adults many of us think we are not. What changes as children grow up? Organizations across the globe are competing in a world that is changing faster than ever. They say they need people who can think creatively, who are flexible and quick to adapt.

Great Big Theme
Revisado: 06-12-23
I am thankfull for Ken Robinson and his message to the universe. I just hope more people will listen, and that enough people will be persuaded to think differently about how we craft our education, society, and the next generation. We need people who are autonomous, creative, self directed, and responsible to approach the problems of the future. We need to change how we approach education if we are ever going to foster these attributes and encourage rather than squelch the innate creativity that we have as human beings. 1 point for humanity over AI.

Learned Something I did not see coming..
Revisado: 06-12-23
I learned so many things that I did not expect from this book. I was not inspired to read it at first because I did not want to think about work. Once I got into it however, I found that there is much to learn here that is more valuable that just simple tactics to try to make things go your way. It has opened me up to understand how to focus on people, and listen to what they have to say, which has made me a better person.

Popular for good reason
Revisado: 06-12-23
This little allegory is so well crafted and written, that it really deserves the " classic status" it has received. It takes such a difficult and serious challenge we all face universally, and makes it approachable, and understandable. It changes how you deal with "change", and helps you be more " adaptable" which is the essential skill of life. You are thankful to have read it, which is a sign of a good book.

Extremely well done all around
Revisado: 02-21-23
The narration can make all the difference and this is spot on. Still the story has to be a good one and must be told very well. This is also spot on. It is real, gritty, & well developed. It has stuck with me, and has helped me grow as a person, especially when facing difficult circumstances.

Epic
Revisado: 10-03-21
This has been one of the best books I have ever heard or read. I can’t say enough good about the topic, the reaserch, the composition. Everything was too good for words. Listening again to catch some of what I missed.
