At multiple times during this book my mind was blown. Usually I can predict which way a book will go, not with this one. Please do not let the reviews about the main character not having a British accent stop you from listening to this. You will be missing out on an incredible story.

Just as good as I remember

I first read this book after it caught my eye in the school library. I don’t think I need to say too much on how great this classic is.
What I do is want to touch on is the narration. It is not at bad as people are making it out to be, sure he’s no RC Bray, but his character voices are very good. It’s his “narrator voice” that is a bit monotone, I sped it up to 1.2 and very quickly I didn’t even notice it anymore. I’m glad I didn’t listen to some reviews and got it anyway. Was great to go through this journey again. Now we just need the rest of the Rama books on audible.

I’ve never listened to or read a book like this. Didn’t expect this book to be like this at all, but it was GREAT. Kept my attention throughout the whole book, I just wanted more and more. The narration was perfect.

it took me while to finish this book. The book was overall frustrating. The first 3 books were fun and exciting. This book was the complete opposite. I can only hope that this book is setting up for a better 5th book. Attacks from traitors on the inside is getting old real fast.

One of the best audible books I’ve listened to.

This book was amazing for me. The best way I can describe this book in one word would be “Satisfying”
I’m glad this wasn’t a shoot em up action packed mess. I loved listening about the soldiers surviving in the past and using their combined knowledge to build a life there. Interactions with locals and other lost people was exciting and got my heart pounding quite a bit. The author showed you don’t need constant violence to make a good book.
I only wish the Author would make more books about time travel.
