Outstanding!!

This book is full of so many twists and turns that I could hardly keep up. I listened to it the entire day and finished up this morning. It’s one of those books that you just don’t want it to end because it’s so good. Zachary Webber is one of my favorites and his outstanding narration added to the pleasure of listening to this book. I also enjoyed the added narrators this time. I can’t wait for the next Travis Devine/6:20 Man!

Rachel Hatch Spin-off

I listened to all of the Rachel Hatch books and loved them, but I was beginning to get impatient/annoyed with her relationship with Savage. Along comes "Savage Grounds" and WALLA...we're moving on.
Now I'm lovin' Dalton in his new life and I have also found a new favorite narrator with Chris Brinkley!
Great series!!

Am I ever glad I gave these a try!!

I decided to try this series out. I was a bit skeptical because it’s not my usual genre, but I gave it a try. I was hooked during the first book and binge-listened through the next 3. I seriously did not want the series to end. Ray Porter, as always, nailed it and made it so enjoyable to listen to.

Another great Baldacci book!

I “re-listened” to “The 6:20 Man” as it has been awhile since my first time. Also knowing there is another adventure with Travis Devine coming, I like to refresh my memory. Zachary Webber is one of my favorite narrators and that’s a bonus to this audio book. I already have “The Edge” pre-ordered and I’m looking forward to getting started on it.

I want more of Miller and Stevens!!

I listened to this book when it was released, and I love it. Assuming it was the first in a series, I have been hoping for more. I just re-listened to it again and I'm sad that there doesn't seem to be any more in the future. Seems that others feel the same. Tim Campbell is an excellent narrator, too. Can we still hope for more?

Love this series!!

When Contrail was announced it was coming out, I went back and listened to the entire series again, since it had been awhile listening to them. I think I enjoyed them more the second time around and each installment kept getting better! Absolutely loved Contrail! I hope there will be more to come.

Trying a new author and this was a winner!

I am always looking for new authors to try. I chose Miami Burn because Adam Gold is one of my favorite narrators, and I liked the sound of the storyline. I am disappointed that the next two Titus books are not available in audio, though. Especially when there is a preview of the second one at the end of the first one! I’m still hoping the series will continue in audible.

Another great addition to the Sean O'Brien series!

For some reason, this audible book was late to be released at audible.com, but I am so grateful it has been. I love the Sean O'Brien series and it just keeps getting better. I was glued to this one and finished it in two days. I hope that the Sean O'Brien and Elizabeth Monroe series continue to be available for us to enjoy on audible.com.

Would you consider the audio edition of Tom Clancy Under Fire to be better than the print version?

Only because of the great narrator, is the audio more enjoyable. I doubt I would get through the print version

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

No.

Which character – as performed by Scott Brick – was your favorite?

I guess Jack Ryan....but he does well with all characters.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No.

Any additional comments?

Since I recently started listening to Jack Ryan, Jr novels, I find that Mark Greaney is much better at delivering the best story that keeps me interested, and when it ends I can't wait until the next one.

Where does The Chemist rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I have listened to hundreds of audio books and this is one of the best.

What did you like best about this story?

The surprise twists, how the characters evolved, the humorous comebacks when you weren't expecting it and the excellent plot.

Which scene was your favorite?

Hard to say.....there were several 'greats', but when Kevin showed up to rescue Daniel, that was the kickoff of "wows."

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely! When I got up in the morning, I looked forward to getting those earbuds planted in my ears to continue the adventure.

Any additional comments?

My daughter was reading the hardcover book and mentioned that she thought it was one that I would like. (Our tastes in books are not the same). As it turned out, she loved it and gave me a brief summary. I listened to the narrater sample (a narrater can make or break a good audio book) and she was excellent! Ordered it, listened to it and loved it. Now I have a new narrater, Ellen Archer, on my list of favorites, and I will watch for more of Stephenie Meyer's books. I truly hope "The Chemist" is the beginning of a new series!
