E.M. Bounds give great insight into prayer and it's powerful effects. The only thing about this listen is that Simon Vance did so great reading God's Smuggler and Dorien Ellis did such a tremendous job reading the last E.M. Bounds book it was hard to get the same effect from the calmer Simon Vance as I did in Power through Prayer.

I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about the essential-ness of prayer and what it can do in your life.

This was profound! The book and the reading of it were both excellent. A necessary read or listen for any Christian who hopes to have a holy and useful experience.

I was very impressed by the reading, which brought much life and authority to the powerful words written by E.M. Bounds. It was altogether a pleasant experience which made me glad to have purchased it and to have tried Audible Books.

What made the experience of listening to God's Smuggler the most enjoyable?

The reader did an excellent job of making the account come to life for me. I was sucked into the book, which was already one of my favorites.

Who was your favorite character and why?

No real favorite, Brother Andrew couldn't have succeeded without his wife and all his acquaintances with him. Ah, God gets glory. He orchestrated the entire thing!

Which scene was your favorite?

Loosing the gibbon from the cord that was cutting through his flesh. The whole book was good, but that scene stands out from the entire of the book and teaches a profound lesson all its own.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The scene with the gibbon made me cry when I read it and though I knew it was coming it nevertheless profoundly affected me again when I heard it this time also.

Any additional comments?

A great book, well read, very engaging!
