Historia
It was the perfect plan. I needed a wife - temporarily - in order to inherit the family business. And she needed a favor - the kind that takes nine months to deliver. We had it all worked out, from the no-touching policy on our wedding night (her rule) to the no-falling-in-love decree (mine). She’d marry me, I’d give her the means to have the baby she’d always wanted, and one year later we’d amicably part ways with no hassle, no demands, and certainly no regrets. After all, Bianca DeRossi and I are experts at infuriating one another - we’ve been doing it since we were kids.

Hilarious, sexy, and sweet!!!!!!
Revisado: 08-25-21
Enzo and Bianca's relationship is the kind of relationship I want. An honest one. I want someone who I can call my best friend, too, not just a partner. Someone I can tease, I can show my "negative" and "flirty" side without judgment. Someone who will understand my mood, my words, and my silence. And someone who will consider what I want and will know what I need.
Anyway, I really enjoyed listening to this book and I highly recommend it! Be warned though with the swear words and "bed" words. LOL!
Spoiler: Enzo was hilarious when he tried to imitate Edward Cullen with an accent. I cannot! XD

I JUST LOVED IT!
Revisado: 07-13-21
So inspirational. We all have our own past, and most of the time, we question why bad things happen to us. Well, the answer is: because YOU ARE STRONGER than you think and you know you CAN get through it.
If you were able to continue living the best of your life despite all, then nothing and no one can bring you down.
God is with you.

Historia
Dave Pelzer was brutally abused as a child by his emotionally unstable, alcoholic mother. She considered him a slave - no longer a boy, but an "it". He was physically and mentally tortured and starved. The outside world knew nothing of the nightmare he experienced behind closed doors, and his father was aware of the abuse but turned to denial and alcohol. The abuse only fueled a determination to survive and become stronger.

God is listening. God is watching.
Revisado: 06-26-21
Dear David,
I wanted to tell you that I am so glad to find your book. I couldn't compare what I had went through when I was a kid to what you've gone through during your childhood. I used to get beaten by my mom, too. I used to punch the wall just so I could relieve my anger. I couldn't speak up and fought back because despite all, I still love my mom and my family. I used to resent God and tell myself He is NOT real. But God showed me that He's listening and watching. He showed me miracles proving that He's indeed existing and that He got me and I just need to be patient and trust He's timing, trust that He IS God.
And I want you to know that I am proud of you. Because you made it. You grew up well, David. You did well. And remember, God loves you and He's always watching and listening to our prayers.
God bless all the people reading this. May your prayers be answered.

You will give life, hope, and new beginning for these sincere and gentle souls and in return they will give you unconditional love and loyalty that you cannot actually get from humans most of the time.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This will brought you to tears.

Unimaginable
Revisado: 04-28-21
You will know the story is really good if it awakens so much emotions in you.
When I realized, before the revelation, that Georgie and Diana were actually dead, my heart sank. That explains why they never get cold, hungry, or thirsty. I literally wonder how do they eat.
This is so heartbreaking. What a tragic fate for the 2 children.

I'M A READER,NOT A LISTENER. BUT I GAVE IT A SHOT
Revisado: 04-24-21
Call me silly but I listened to this children's book and for me, the overall experience was terrific! Though the story line is simple and some may find it cliché, the narrator did a great job delivering every characters' lines, and that's all that matters. Sometimes, for a reader like me and not used to listen to audiobooks, it depends on the narrator if I will continue or not no matter how good the story line is. The narrator should be engaging and know how to switch his/her voice to match the characters personality the way the listeners would feel the emotion. And Ellen Grafton did an amazing job! Looking forward to hear from her more narrating Mary Downing Hahn's stories.
