First off, I will say, I was able to connect to this book unexpectedly because I have been recently diagnosed and started treatment for a rare cancer. Second, this book was so sweet and beautiful, it helped me get through some tough days. I love Lenny and Miles and I love the way they were written. Miles was the perfect medicine Lenny needed. Very well written.

I loved it!

This really was a good story. I didn't read anything about it before picking it. I was just looking for a new romance novel after a long fantasy series I just finished. This book brought me back to normal life but with an unexpected fantasy twist of the age old question, what if we had a second chance? It was beautiful and heart breaking and then beautiful again. I loved it and would highly recommend it to any romance readers that are open to believing in the unexpected.

Loved it! Exciting and different

I am really falling in love with everything Cara Bastone writes. It always starts off with something happening and you being sucked into this world of the main characters and how everything clicks into place. This book was very creative and I loved the time travel twist this one had. Very sci-fi of her. I loved it!

Better than I expected

When I first started listening to this book, I was immediately put off by the rude house wives story line but something told me to keep listening and as I kept hearing this book the more I wanted to know how it ended. It was great and I absolutely loved the ending. For anyone who gets annoyed by the cranky house wives, give it a couple chapters. You won't be disappointed.

Surprised this was the ending our Ruthless King got

I have read every single Meghan March book including each one about Mount and Keira. I did not expect their happily ever after to be like this. I am happy for these characters that I love so much but the way in which it came to be was just odd. I also did not like how the strong Mount we know and love seemed the complete opposite of himself especially in the first few chapters of this book. I liked the ending but it had no spice and at times was over the top emotional for a Mount story. Happy their happy but this just wasn't what I expected. Missed a lot about Keira and her family knowing as well. Would have also liked to see her tell Magnolia in a safe way what happened and that didn't happen either. Really missed the spice. Just not what I wanted as a fan.

Slow but worth it

So I'm not going to lie, this book did not capture my attention like other spicy romance books do. I felt like I had to force myself to keep listening to it until it started getting interesting around Chapter 34. I love the characters but I just felt it was a very repetitive storyline until things actually started happening that caught my interest. Overall, it ended strong so I did give it a thumbs up. I just wish I would have had more going on in the middle maybe with Tina or the Hugo crime family to keep us in suspense.

This book was everything I needed to hear 10/10

This book was powerful. It impacted me in many ways I can relate to in my own life. It was a story that needed to be told and now needs to be heard. Caution: There are parts of this story that may be triggering but again, it is a story that needs to be heard by both women and men. It made me cry several times but also made me smile several more times as well. I can't recommend this book enough. Worth every dollar and/or credit.

Surprisingly Wonderful ❤️

I wasn't expecting to love this story as much as I did but it was beautiful. It kept me on the edge of my seat with all the twists and turns. It was one of those kinds of books that had things in it you needed to hear when going through some hard times in life. When a book can make me laugh and cry like this one did, it's worth every page. Well worth the read. I loved it in everyway.
