I loved the first book, with it's unique magic. This sequel surpassed my expectations, giving character growth and fulfillment. The audio narration was delightful and brought the story to life.

I've been binging through this series and it took me most of the book to get used to the new voice actor. She did a great job but the characters were sounding off to me until the story took it's expected unexpected twist and I sped along merrily with the cast.
