Historia
Victor Emanuel is widely considered one of America's leading birders. In One More Warbler, Emanuel recalls a lifetime of birding adventures - from his childhood sighting of a male Cardinal that ignited his passion for birds to a once-in-a-lifetime journey to Asia to observe all eight species of cranes of that continent. He tells fascinating stories of meeting his mentors who taught him about birds, nature, and conservation, and later, his close circle of friends who he frequently birded and traveled with around the world.

Did the narrator not familiarize himself with the subject?
Revisado: 07-25-23
The book itself is of mild interest to avid birders as it is fun to hear about places and people well known to the birding community.
However, the narrator has no clue how to pronounce many bird species - if he calls the Curlew a Curl- yoo one more time…. Further, as the author was located in Texas and much of the activity recounted occurs in the Southwest and Mexico, having a passing ability to properly pronounce Spanish words and place names would be appreciated.
