Just one thing I hated

I only hate that the first 4 books are read by one woman and this one is read by another, same man though. It always bothers me when this happens in series because I’m a creature of habit. She’s not even bad at all, just different. Otherwise love this book, love this series. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll cringe, you’ll question all your life choices, you’ll be sad when it’s over.

First off, the narrator speaks way too slowly. I highly recommend turning the speed up to 1.2 or 1.5. Other than that, this is a fun book to listen to.

Was there series progression? A little, but not really. Was this book fun? Yes yes yes! I loved Casteel’s POV and it reminded me why I love this story. I’m excited for the next book!

I capital L Love this book - The story, the characters, the romance and the world building, it’s all there in the perfect amounts! I’m only sad I got into it so early and there aren’t like 3-4 books out already. The fmc is so courageous and honest about owning her feelings and it’s such a breath of fresh air. I also loved the narration, I think it fit Violet perfectly.
