I can’t believe this is how the book ends?! What a strange choice to end this story this way. It’s like the end of the chapter & you’re like, where’s the rest of the story? Great story, bad ending.

I was done for. Profoundly screwed. The issue, of course, was my assistant, Devereux. She was slowly but surely driving me crazy. It wasn’t supposed to be like this. Hiring her was supposed to bring order to my life. Instead, she’d brought disorder. Chaos. Irritation. Malaise. Comfort. Exuberance. Delight. I was obsessed with her. Truly, irrevocably obsessed. She was stubborn. Standoffish. Painfully honest. Take no prisoners efficient.

The narrator was a perfect Tuner Thorne, He really brought the character to life!

I loved everything about it! The banter & sarcasm & dialogue were hilarious. My only complaint is that I really wish this book was longer. I felt like this book could have easily been twice as long.

Jade West is a truly gifted writer. I have LOVED all her books. I am very disappointed that Audible does not have the whole Dirty Bad Series as well as her other 3 books available. Listeners are really missing out Audible! If you haven't read Jade West before, please do, you won't be disappointed.

In Love With HIM

A jewel in M/M Romance. Having read many books in this genre, there is something about HIM that is truly unique and wonderful. I'm sure many readers can relate, that when you become invested and genuinely fall in love with a book and it's characters you have high expectations. Whether those expectations be for any sequel or in this case an audio version. Overall, I was satisfied with the performance of the readers. It wasn't what I would have chosen especially for the voice of Jamie. I imaged a bit younger sounding voices. Not in voice depth or pitch but more in the style in which they spoke (you know, like college kids, youthful, relaxed, more emphasis on slang). I find audiobooks tend to miss the mark matching voices to characters and tend to read much formal than they should, sounding unnatural. HIM did a great job! I would absolutely recommend reading and listening, it won't disappoint!
