Historia
When Imogen returns to work at Glossy after six months away, she can barely recognize her own magazine. Eve, fresh out of Harvard Business School, has fired "the gray hairs", put the managing editor in a supply closet, stopped using the landlines, and hired a bevy of manicured and questionably attired underlings who text and tweet their way through meetings.

Great book! Real life situations & funny too!
Revisado: 04-28-18
What did you love best about The Knockoff?
It was a fast moving, funny book that is totally relatable. The authors did a great job. I also really liked Fitness Junkie and I didn't know if I would like this book as much and it was just as amazing!!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Imogene - she had so much grace, composure and professionalism when dealing with Eve. I actually learned a few things about dealing with difficult people from her character. She is a great role model.
Which scene was your favorite?
The ending when I thought Eve would be fired effective immediately, but Erin Chang lets Imogene do it her way!
If you could rename The Knockoff, what would you call it?
The Girl We Disliked in High School!!!

Historia
The story begins in 1962. On a rocky patch of the sun-drenched Italian coastline, a young innkeeper, chest-deep in daydreams, looks out over the incandescent waters of the Ligurian Sea and spies an apparition: a tall, thin woman, a vision in white, approaching him on a boat. She is an actress, he soon learns, an American starlet, and she is dying. And the story begins again today, half a world away, when an elderly Italian man shows up on a movie studio's back lot - searching for the mysterious woman he last saw at his hotel decades earlier.
