Historia
To Andy Rooney and the Greatest Generation, sex was only a rumor. But to an Indiana University zoology professor, wholesome American youth was in fact promiscuous and adulterous. Alfred Kinsey's bias-masquerading-as-research became accepted wisdom, thus tainting generations of Americans. Now, in a comprehensive and investigative fashion, Judith Reisman traces not only the effects of Kinsey's diabolical research, but describes those early, falsely accused generations in very different terms, because she lived through those times.

Unfortunately it's not shocking

Great book. A good view of the slippery slope that got us to where we are now. This book thoroughly details Kinseys cabal of perverts and psychopaths and shows how they were able to so influence our current world.

Not what I was looking for
Revisado: 11-22-21
The author seems to be an overt pedophile. this book contains a defense of convicted pedophiles and even has the author joking with his homosexual friends about 14 year old boys. I only made it 5 hours in before I was too grossed out.

Historia
In Sacred Scripture, Sacred War, James Byrd offers the first comprehensive analysis of how American revolutionaries defended their patriotic convictions through scripture. Byrd shows that the Bible was a key text of the American Revolution. Indeed, many colonists saw the Bible as primarily a book about war. They viewed God as not merely sanctioning violence but actively participating in combat, playing a decisive role on the battlefield.

this was just what I was looking for. It's a real eye opener about the difference in modern and past theology. It seems that all the theological battles of the revolution have been forgotten. This has been my most bookmarked audiobook and I will definitely read again.

A Godsend
Revisado: 06-03-20
This book was a very enjoyable and easy listen. if you are like me and find modern Christianity to be missing something then this book will help fill in part of that hole. This book restores mystery and majesty to Christianity and includes the reader(if they be in Christ) in part of a grand story taking place from creation and ending at Armageddon.

Historia
Crucifixion, the Romans believed, was the worst fate imaginable, a punishment reserved for slaves. How astonishing it was, then, that people should have come to believe that one particular victim of crucifixion - an obscure provincial by the name of Jesus - was to be worshipped as a god. Dominion explores the implications of this shocking conviction as they have reverberated throughout history.

This was my third Tom Holland Book and It was the best. It opens your eyes to all of the clothing that modernity seems to have stolen from the wardrobe of Christianity.
