This series is ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! The duet narration made listening to Gold such a joy—it brought the characters and emotions to life in the best way. I've listened to countless audiobooks, and this story easily ranks in my top ten. I was on the edge of my seat multiple times, and that cliffhanger? Sheesh! Thank goodness the sixth and final book is ready for me. I already know I'm going to miss these characters deeply. I can’t recommend this series enough! 🥰🎧🌶️📚

Nightshade is absolutely fantastic!

It has all the essential elements of an epic love story—fated mates, angels and demons, a morally gray MMC, and even reincarnation for good measure.

If you love religious history, Gothic vibes, and paranormal romance, I highly recommend this book. It’s a slow burn but has just enough spice to keep you hooked.

While it’s not duet narration (my favorite), Islay Jacobs and Ryan West still do an amazing job!

I had so much fun with this book, The FAE Gods and Quicksilver lore intrigued me. I couldn’t take “Kingfisher” seriously as a name (“Fisher” works though). Loved Saeris and Fisher's banter and the spice was🔥 🔥; and while the ending was ACOTAR-level wild, I’m hoping for more in the sequel. The narrators, Stella Bloom and Anthony Palmini, were absolutely amazing and brought the story to life. Thank goodness for DUET style narration!!! The found family trope was sweet, and the side characters; Onyx, Wendy, Carrion Swift (my favorite), Lorreth & Ren gave the story the depth it needed. I’d love to see more of Carrion's story. The ending was action-packed, twisty, and left me eager for the sequel—Ugh!! 1 year wait!

Tobias, Age … 🥰

Alright, I'll spill – I had serious doubts about this book. Reviews weren't exactly singing its praises, and Tobias's multiple trips down memory lane in different chapters had me questioning if this was my jam. But whoa, was I mistaken! This conclusion dives deep, painting rich backstories of Tobias, Dom, and Shawn that blew my mind.



Tiny Spoiler Alert
My ultimate favorite tale? Tobias at 11, meeting Cecilia’s Mom while Dom battled chickenpox. Then, bam! Shawn pops in through the window, and Dom tags him as "the culprit." Cue the waterworks! Those moments? They glued me to this series. That story hit me like a truck.

Kate Stewart's Ravenhood Series? Broke me into pieces, then meticulously patched me back together. And let's talk about the Audible version narrated by Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden—pure gold! I gobbled up this tale of love, loss, and unwavering loyalty. And when it ended, I wished it hadn't. The perfect blend of spice and story.
Definitely recommend, Worth all 3 Credits. Enjoy!! 🥰🌶️📚🎧♥️

Ok… I’m Hooked 🪝♥️

What a roller coaster ride! Hooked was an AMAZING story. Definitely not what I expected. I normally listen to fantasy books and I thought that this was going to be a fantasy story not a gangster novel, but it did not disappoint. The characters were rich and flushed out and I quickly became invested. The narrators did an AWESOME job both of them nailing the British accent. This story is spicy, and action packed and the twist was perfectly timed. Definitely worth the credit.

New Here But I Love it & I think I'll Stay Awhile

This duet was so very good!! I recently dipped my toe in the dark fantasy pond starting with the amazing Vicious Lost Boys series by Nikki St. Crowe. This was recommended to me by someone on FB and the premise and trigger warnings intrigued me. I really enjoyed the depth of characters and the way that they changed each other. I also appreciated that the morally gray remained that way. Loved "Uncle Yarin" he added the much needed humor during some of the dark moments. The books are spicy in the best possible way. Definitely worth the credits. Enjoy!

Ready for More…

This installment was amazing! I understand the negative reviews because it did move much slower than book one. However, the story is still very rich and written in a beautiful way. Please listen to book 2 a lot happened and it was important to the movement of the story; things were revealed (jaw dropping moments) definitely an emotional roller coaster, but so worth it. No disrespect to the male narrator however, he is not needed. I feel like it distracted us from the flow. Lilly does an amazing job with all of the character’s voices; there is no need for Curt to narrate the chapters that belong belong to Adrian. So much was left unanswered. I definitely hope that book 3 closes the loop on a lot of things. I appreciate the extra chapter it was beautiful and sexy, but a little disjointed. I love Adrian and Isolde I hope we get the HEA we all have been waiting for!! 🥰🥰 This story is sexy, and gritty, definitely for adults! Enjoy.

How Good Was That… So Good!! 🥰😍

WoW! That was so good. You know that I am a sucker for one horse, one bed and this story did a great job. I knew I was going to love the narration when I saw that two of my faves Stella, Hunter, and JF Harding were involved with them acting you can’t go wrong. I knew that there was going to be a cliffhanger, but wow I didn’t see that coming. So excited to know that this story will continue the author, Holly Renee did a great job. I felt connected to the characters and really enjoyed their journey together. The story brings the spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️ as well as the action 🗡️🤛🏻🩸 excited to see how the story progresses; hoping to hear more about the history of the vampires. A kingdom of stars, and Shadows is definitely worth the credit. ENJOY!!

I Enjoyed All 3 Stories 📚

I am so glad that I stumbled upon this box set! It was such an enjoyable, listen. Yes, you find out pretty early on that the fated mates would end up together, but that allowed you to just enjoy the story, knowing that there would be a happy ending was a welcoming break from the will they won’t they storylines. I am not mad that there is somewhat of a cliffhanger at the end of the third book, because that means we get more from this author. The narrators did an amazing job! I just wish that it was a duet rather than duel narration it would have been great to hear them work with each other rather than one at a time. Lucas Webley and Michelle sparks did so well the books had the right amount of spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️ the right amount of angst, and definitely the right amount of action. If you are looking for a great story, that was well written, and definitely well acted. Please use a credit you will not be disappointed! Enjoy 😉

What can I say?!? This is literally one of the best audiobooks out there.
Narration: a long time ago (August 2020) I listened to The beginning of everything by Kristen Ashley. That was the first time I ever heard a story with a full cast. It was amazing each characters Voice was defined and provided me with a connection that I never knew I needed or wanted from an audiobook The Mate Games gave me that feeling that I first felt three years ago and surpassed my expectations. It is important that I acknowledge each and every narrator Jason Clarke JF Harding, Stella Hunter, James Joseph, Aaron Shedlock, Jacob Morgan, and Teddy Hamilton are spectacular and deserve every accolade and award that is available to narrators.
Story: if you’ve made it to the fourth book, you already know that K. Loraine and Meg Anne, know exactly how to write a story Mate Games gives you the right amounts of plot, character development, intrigue, angst, romance, sex, violence, etc.
Note: this book is not for the faint of heart, and not only is it worth the credits, but it’s definitely worth each and every minute that you devote to listening to this, Rich, and colorful story. It is spicy, 🌶️🌶️🌶️ not YA but I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in an EXCELLENT paranormal romance. Thank you K. Loraine and Meg Anne for an awesome ride can’t wait for Deal with the Demon the mate games pestilence book one.
