Historia
While swimming along the Sicilian shore, Inspector Montalbano discovers a corpse. His pursuit of the cause of death intersects with the inquiry into a hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of a young boy who may have been victimized by human traffickers. The buying and selling of immigrant children, for slave labor, sex, and as a source of illegal organ transplants, is part of the evil underside of the opening of Europe's borders.

first & last
Revisado: 10-31-21
I could only get through chapter 6 and couldn't take the pain of that awful voice of the reader. The story line was good, not great and not believable. I now can say I read an Agatha Raisin heroine but never a 2nd time.

Well written story & well narrated. Too long.
Revisado: 09-30-21
The story idea was interesting and at times captivating. I found myself painfully hoping it would end since it became repetitive with only a few twists. the entire story dragged on past 70+ chapters when it would have been successful to end at a lot less chapters. my attention wanned.
