Alehouse at the End of the World is what I imagine would be the result of a Miguel de Cervantes and Lewis Carroll collaboration. It's crass and erotic, funny and heartbreaking. I stepped out of my preferred genre when this book picked me, and I'm so glad to have experienced it.
